    Commissioned histories, including biographical, can be of any length and involve small or large scale research efforts, often in collaboration with the client. Histories often come about because of a major anniversary of an individual or organisation. Commissioned histories do not have to be for publication and may well be written for a small audience. Others can be long-term, significant projects. They are all tailor-made.

    Oral histories recover the stories of people’s lives in their own words and can provide invaluable insights into historical events and personalities. Transcripts of interviews can be provided in hard copy and digital formats.

    Cooee is practised at conducting historical events of all kinds such as commemorations, anniversaries, remembrances, book launches, cemetery tours and orations- supported and enhanced by historical re-enactment if and when required.
